Hello again! And welcome to the October issue of our Newsletter, aptly named: "Defining October". It's been a busy month here at Define Creative, so we hope you enjoy reading about it as much as we've enjoyed telling you about it!
Our team finally got out of the office together for our first social lunch, and we picked a cosy Japanese restaurant in Cambridge for the occasion. The food was delicious, but what really made it great was just getting to chat and relax outside of work. It was a perfect way to unwind. The food was so good that we didn't capture any photos of it, but please enjoy a post-lunch food coma'd Matt wearing boxes for shoes when we got back to the office...Here’s to more team outings like this!
Matt attended a marketing networking event recently, and it turned out to be both enjoyable and insightful. He had the chance to connect with other professionals in the field, exchange ideas, and pick up some fresh strategies. The event had a great vibe, and Matt came back with a few new contacts and some inspiration to bring back to the team. It was a great evening, and he's already looking forward to the next one!
This month, we revisited the wonderful JKH who gave us a testimonial on how it was working together on our drone project from back in May.
The project consisted of Jordan directing a 'Oner' which is a shot in one, continuous take.
The drone flythrough at the factory was an impressive feat that took a ton of coordination and planning. With over 50 people from both the office and production teams involved, everyone had their role, and communication was key, meaning walkie-talkies everywhere! The timing had to be perfect as the drone moved seamlessly through the production lines, capturing every angle of the operation. It was an exciting way to showcase the factory, and seeing it all come together was definitely a proud moment for the team. A huge shoutout to James Singleton, our drone pilot, who captured the amazing footage with his meticulous piloting skills.
This month, we launched the second podcast of the "Memory Lanes Podcast" series with The Oracle Group. This episode featured Sales & Marketing Director, Simone Dhanjal.
"In this episode of Memory Lanes, Simone reflects on how her childhood passion for horses shaped her home life and inspired her journey into real estate so she could support this hobby. She also shares insights about her current home in the countryside, where she has created a tranquil space that everyone is always welcome to visit."

Jordan and Dan spent the day out at Denny Abbey farm, capturing some beautiful footage that truly showcased the landscape and the peaceful atmosphere of the place. It was great to spend time with the team (and the friendly farmland animals!) that make Denny Abbey such a great place to visit. Jordan's highlight of the day was getting to explore the Denny Abbey grounds with the family they filmed with while capturing the footage. Overall, it was a brilliant day of filming which was nicely rounded off with a bit of tea and cake from the cafe.
Don't be shy, come say hi if you're at either of these events!
